In this study,we established a high throughput DNA microarray detection method for monitoring of respiratory viruses.Respiratory viruses include 8 viral families and 38 viruses were selected for this study.Specific detection probes for each virus were designed by comparing the conserved sequences of each virus. The respiratory virus detection DNA microarray was prepared according to the probes. The nucleic acids of the selected viruses were amplified and labeled by random-primer PCR method, and then were hybridized with the respiratory virus detection DNA microarray. The microarray were scanned after hybridization and washing , and the results were analyzed1Using influenza virus ,mumps virus ,measles virus and rubella virus to test the respiratory virus detection DNA microarray ,and 80 throat swab specimens as a testing samples were also detected1The result s showed that the selected viruses can be detected by this method1So , DNA microarray method can effectively monitor the respiratory viruses.
